Happy Thursday! Have you ever tried forest bathing? It sounds cool, but many of us don’t have access to a real forest… so we use this:
Live with intention
Do you feel like you live intentionally?
I asked myself this question after realizing that I spent most days running after time rather than doing what really mattered. Not only am I a huge procrastinator, but I often lose track of my various projects and get lost in all the things I want to do.
Some people are like peaceful captains who manage to get their ship from point A to point B without a hurdle. They navigate with intention.
Instead, I was desperately trying to stay afloat on my shitty pierced boat, letting the faintest wind drive me away from my destination.
That’s when I came to this realization that “living intentionally” really started to make sense.
How can you live with intention?
Journaling is an effective way to do so. Every night, write down a task that really matters to you and that you want to get done tomorrow.
For some people, this won’t be enough (me included). Those who are easily distracted or struggle to set boundaries might find it helpful to plan their day by the hour (this is the only way I manage to stay on top of things).
Be your own barista
I tried making a banana bread that matched my favorite coffee shop’s recipe yesterday. It was a disaster. (Note to self: follow the goddamn recipe.)
Try this one.
