I read Seth Godin’s Tribes last week. Godin argues that every group with a common purpose is a tribe — and I started reflecting on Coffeehouse’s future.
Are we a tribe?
Sure.
What’s our shared purpose?
I’d say productivity, but it’s too reductive. I think our shared purpose is achieving. Doing stuff we can be proud of.
But, there’s something missing. Godin states that members need a way to communicate for a tribe actually to be a tribe. So, I thought of creating a (free) Facebook group for Coffeehouse readers.
We’d connect to talk about all things productivity and self-development, and mostly we’d keep each other accountable. You’d make new friends and meet a bunch of accountability buddies.
