Before you go any further, I wanted to thank everyone who responded to last weekâs issue. About 95% of our community would rather get a weekly playlist instead of a daily video, so starting next week, Coffeehouse will become a weekly newsletter.
In addition, Iâm working on creating a virtual space for us to hang out, meet virtually, and keep each other accountable. More info soon.
If thereâs anything youâd like me to add to the newsletter, please let me know.
I like to start the week with some music, itâs motivating and uplifting.
Take care of your mental health
Recently, I read an interesting piece on Medium about entrepreneursâ mental health. Usually, entrepreneurs neglect their mental health to focus on work, which causes them to gain weight, become increasingly anxious, and sometimes even burn out.
I believe many remote workers face similar issues. Working from home means being at the office 24/7, hence itâs difficult to âdisconnectâ and tempting to work after hours or during the weekend.
It becomes easy to just stay at home and forget about your social life and overall wellbeing. Donât fall into this trap.

Keep in mind that self-care looks different for everyone. What is it like for you?
Achieving goals and crossing items off their to-do list is the definition of self-care for some while unplugging and taking a bath is what others find relaxing. Personally, reading self-help books is my favorite form of self-care.
Find what self-care looks like for you, and try to practice activities that bring you joy every day. Also, challenge yourself to try new things like drawing, meditating, etc.
