Binaural sounds are supposed to boost your creativity, improve focus, attention, memory retention, and reduce anxiety. That’s quite a lot.
This one is tailored to improve your concentration — you’ll find yourself in an English coffee shop, with a man saying “excuse me” on repeat in the background.
It was disturbing at first, but then it was oddly… soothing?
Put on headphones and try it for yourself. Also, only 43 people, including me, have seen this so far. You’re part of the chosen few, my friends.
Ramblings
I love England. And I love Downtown Abbey. Part of me wants to live in a secluded cottage in Hampshire... I would raise sheep and let them hang out at my house.
When I lived in New York, my roommate and I went to see the Downtown Abbey movie at the Nighthawk, a movie theatre/restaurant. They used to serve movie-themed drinks and comfort food. The film was disappointing, but I loved the experience.
Eating gourmet food at the movies? How cool is that?
Eventually, I got used to eating delicious veggie burgers and sipping classy cocktails while watching a film.
But I live in France now, and there’s nothing you can eat inside a movie theatre besides popcorn.
I miss New York a lot, sometimes.

Have you heard of adaptogenic mushrooms? Apparently, they’re supposed to reduce the effects of stress on your body. They’re very different from hallucinogenic mushrooms and don’t influence the mind or perception.
I bought an adaptogenic blend and started adding a teaspoon into my usual afternoon hot chocolate two days ago. Honestly, it works. Here’s the recipe:
Mix a cup of your favorite milk, a teaspoon of cacao, and a teaspoon of your chosen adaptogenic blend. You can also add a bit of condensed milk if you like sweetness. Drink it warm (with marshmallows).
