Today, we’re going on a sightseeing flight.
Ramblings
I spent the week with my family in a remote cottage near Poitiers, France. The service was almost nonexistent, which scared the shit out of me — I had work to do, goddamnit.
Although my mailbox is now bursting with stuff to catch up on, this week away from social media and responsibilities was the perfect way to start the year. I recommend you try to spend a few days away from screens and just… reconnect with yourself.
We spend so much time online that we often forget how to think for ourselves. An issue comes up? Let me look it up online. Don’t know what to write about? Ask an idea generator. Can’t figure out how to format your article? There’s a blog post about that.
So what happens when we are deprived of our beloved screens? Time seems to pass by more slowly. We finish our book, write something just for the sake of it, activate our brain cells, and connect with our relatives in a more meaningful way.
